The Human Imaging Facility meets the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) needs of the research community at Texas A&M University. State-of-the-art imaging is supported by our research-dedicated Siemens 3T Prisma magnet. From changing and waiting rooms to equipment and space for pre- and post-scan assessment, we provide comprehensive support for MRI projects.
Our Team
Brian A. Anderson, Ph.D.
Director of the Human Imaging Facility
He received his PhD from Johns Hopkins University where he studied the cognitive neuroscience of attention under the mentorship of Dr. Steven Yantis. His research has been recognized with early career awards from the American Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Science, the Psychonomic Society, and the Vision Sciences Society.
Mikki Rahmani
MR Technologist
Mikki has been involved in radiologic imaging since 2000. She received a degree in Radiography from Pima Medical Institute and has spent the majority of her career working in a clinical setting at hospitals in Arizona, Washington, and Texas. She has extensive background performing MRI & CT utilizing GE, Siemens, & Philips scanners. Mikki is ARRT registered in both MRI and CT.
Business Staff
Business operations are supported by staff members affiliated with the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences, the College of Arts & Sciences, and the Division of Research.
Location & Parking
- We are located in the TIPS Building at 800 Raymond Stotzer Pkwy, College Station, TX 77843.
- If driving yourself, park in lot 101, which can be accessed off of Discovery Drive. Reserved spaces 1-3 are available to investigators, other study personnel, and research participants.
- Buses from AggieSpirit route 03 “Yell Practice” stop at lot 101, which is the parking lot for the TIPS Building.
